Is it Possible to WANT Something and RESIST it at the Same Time?
I was saying to a friend the other day: I feel like I gave birth to twins. Because my book Love Notes From a Soul Coach was just released and I just recorded a podcast by the same name, where we go a little deeper into the themes of the book — essentially what it means to heal and how to support ourselves throughout the process.
I wasn’t exactly planning to birth both of these projects at the same time — but that’s how the timing played out. And even though it’s been a little hectic to balance everything all at once, I’m just deeply grateful that I’ve been able to create physical spaces where my stories can live.
I’m a collector of stories. I believe in sharing stories. I believe our lives are built on them. The stories we tell ourselves. The stories we’ve learned over time about where we come from, who our people are, what’s possible — or impossible — for us. Stories are how we contextualize our life experiences and they’re intimately connected with our belief systems — in both positive and destructive, self limiting ways.
